Vice President
Julie Osborne, CISR

I have been in the insurance industry for 11 years, starting at Eastern Insurance as a processor and quickly moving my way up to being a licensed Property & Casualty customer service rep. I have worked in Personal Lines during my whole career and love the interactions I have had with my clients as well as my co-workers. I have gotten both my CISR and AILP designations. I am just about to get my Life Insurance license and then onto my CIC!  I dabbled in the MAIW back in my Eastern days, going to a few meetings with a friend, but really started going to meetings with the Plymouth Chapter in March of 2020, right before COVID shut down the entire world. I was working from home, like everyone else, and looking for something more to do, so offered to take on the Membership Chair of the chapter. That quickly led to my being the Education Chair as well as being on the Membership Chair on the state level. This coming 2022-2023 I will be the Assistant Director of the Plymouth Chapter, a position I cannot wait to tackle along with the Vice President of the State Chapter, as well as being on multiple boards. In my personal life, I am a mother of 4 boys, one girl, and one cat, and became a Grammie of twin girls in November. I love to craft, read, and bake, and cannot wait to be able to share that with the girls.

She then served as Assistant Director from 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. Andrea is excited to serve the Cape Cod Chapter as Director for the 2022-2023 term as well as Secretary on the State Board. Treasurer
Sara Watkins, CISR, CPIA

Sara has been in the insurance industry since 2006, where she was hired as a temp at OneBeacon. From there, she obtained a permanent position in their billing department, and in 2007, was promoted to work in their personal lines underwriting department and obtained her producer license.

In 2014 Sara left company life for agency life and worked in the personal lines department of Partners Insurance Group. During her time there, she was a member of the claims team, obtained her CISR Elite designation, and enjoyed her relationship with both her clients and coworkers. This is also where she was introduced to MAIW and has been an active member ever since. She has been the publicity chairperson, secretary, and was the co-director of her chapter for 2 terms. She has also held the key member position for 2 MAIW presidents and is the new MAIW treasurer. She was also voted member of the year in 2023.

In 2021, Sara joined the DeCotis Specialty team as a commercial lines account manager. This transition has given new life to her career, and she is enjoying the challenges that each day brings. She is looking forward to serving in her new role on the MAIW state board.
